Our Mission
Some of our competitors ‘buy ugly houses.’ We don’t believe a house is ugly. Some houses need to be reconfigured to meet the needs of modern life. Or maybe the house you’ve loved just needs a few minor updates to make it perfect for a new family.
Regardless of current condition, we believe all houses built with care and craftsmanship have a beauty that should be respected and just needs to be brought back to the surface.
Thoughtful Renovations
Modern families function differently than when many of our homes were built, but the beauty of an older home can be made to function for a modern family.
Kitchens and dining/living areas used to always be separate. Separating these spaces keeps us apart from the very people we invited to our homes to spend time with…
…or makes a small kitchen very crowded while cooking dinner or making a beverage.
Especially with all the time spent at home nowadays, once the company has gone we just need a place to relax away from the energy (and dishes) the party created. Modern life needs a sanctuary that most older homes didn’t have.
Older homes rarely had a “master suite” in the modern sense but often had auxiliary spaces, like a full height attic, that was often under used. These spaces can be brought up to modern standards of finish and turned into something wonderful for the next owner.
Barring some extreme cases, simply raising/replacing an existing home that was built with care is not only wasteful, but is not sound business.
We believe that by respecting the past and the home you’ve loved we can not only do better business but do better for our community as well.
Our Pledge to You
We’re interested in seeing every potential property, but can’t buy every house we see. “Guaranteed offer” usually just means “insultingly low” offer and that’s not how we operate.
What we do guarantee is if we make an offer it won’t be a low-ball offer. It will be a fair offer based on current property and market conditions.
